2026 "I Will Follow" Reading Plan

As we begin 2026, we invite you to join our year-long Scripture Reading Plan centered on the theme “I Will Follow.” Each month, we’ll explore the life of a biblical character whose story shows what it truly means to follow God with trust, obedience, and surrender.

The plan includes a short monthly introduction and three to four Scripture passages designed to be approachable, reflective, and formative—helping us grow together as disciples of Jesus.

📖 Access the reading plan at nmp.church by clicking NMPC Reading Plan, or through the NMP.Church App.

2026 Lent Devotional - "Ever Approaching Dawn"

As we enter this season of prayer, repentance, and renewal, we also invite you to deepen your Lenten rhythms with our recommended resource for the year: the 2026 Lent Devotional by Christianity Today, titled Ever Approaching Dawn. This devotional is designed to guide you through Scripture, reflection, and prayer as we make our way toward the cross and the hope of Easter morning.

This year, for convenience, we're providing a link to download an electronic copy of the devotional in PDF form. Be sure to click the button below to download a copy and follow along with our church community throughout the season.

Regional Good Friday Service
4/3/26
Palisades Park, NJ

We invite you to join us for a special Regional Good Friday Service on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 7:30PM, as we gather with churches from across our region to remember and reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

"Good Friday" marks the solemn day our Savior went to the cross on our behalf. This year’s service will be a powerful time of worship, communion, and unity as we come together as the body of Christ to honor His suffering and remember the price He paid.

This regional gathering is organized by the NJ Pastors Gathering, a collective of local churches and leaders committed to prayer and partnership across Bergen County. Let’s come together with expectant hearts as we look to the Cross and prepare ourselves for the hope of Resurrection Sunday.

Sermon

"What Do You Want?"

Speaker

Samuel Jang

Scripture

Mark 10:35-40; 46-52

The Request of James and John
35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him. “Teacher,” they said, “we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

36 “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

37 They replied, “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.”

38 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?”

39 “We can,” they answered.

Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, 40 but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

Blind Bartimaeus Receives His Sight
46 Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.

51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

52 “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
