2026 "I Will Follow" Reading Plan

As we begin 2026, we invite you to join our year-long Scripture Reading Plan centered on the theme “I Will Follow.” Each month, we’ll explore the life of a biblical character whose story shows what it truly means to follow God with trust, obedience, and surrender.

The plan includes a short monthly introduction and three to four Scripture passages designed to be approachable, reflective, and formative—helping us grow together as disciples of Jesus.

📖 Access the reading plan at nmp.church by clicking NMPC Reading Plan, or through the NMP.Church App.

Sermon

Center of Gravity - "When We Sin"

Speaker

Kee Won Huh

Scripture

Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Corporate Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before you with gratitude for Jesus Christ, whose heart is gentle and lowly. Thank you that in him we do not meet a harsh master, but a gracious Savior who welcomes us even in our weakness. Forgive us for the ways we have misunderstood you—living as though you are ready to turn on us when we fail. Renew our minds with the truth of your grace.

Lord Jesus, thank you that even now you are interceding for us. Thank you that your finished work is enough, and that when we sin, you do not turn away, but step forward as our advocate. Thank you that there is no division in heaven, but a united will to save us completely. When guilt and shame weigh us down, remind us that our standing is secure because of you.

Holy Spirit, teach us to respond rightly when we fail. Give us hearts that are quick to repent, but also quick to return. Keep us from hiding, from despair, from giving up. Help us to walk forward with confidence as your children, trusting that Jesus stands for us every time.

And for those who feel weak or discouraged, strengthen their faith. Restore those who have stumbled, and help all of us to keep following Jesus, one step at a time, trusting in his gentle and faithful heart.

We pray this in Jesus’ name, our Advocate and our peace. Amen.
