Lessons From Corinth - "Concerning Spiritual Gifts"

In 1 Corinthians 12:1–11, Paul helps the church understand what makes something genuinely spiritual. The Spirit’s work is not ultimately measured by what is dramatic, impressive, or visible. It is recognized by allegiance to Jesus, expressed through the diversity of God’s people, and directed toward the common good of the church.

In this message, we consider how the confession “Jesus is Lord” should shape our lives, how the Spirit works through people who are differently gifted, and how each of us is called to offer what God has entrusted to us for the strengthening of the body.
